Introduction

This is just a better way to provide readings and updates to the schedule that will hopefully not let me get behind! All readings link through a google drive. Please let me know asap if you cannot see it.

Here is the syllabus. Adapt it to not being in class, but the assignments will be the same.

The overarching goal of this class is to provide you with a way of analyzing where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there. This is something you'll do several times throughout your life.

Despite this class only being available to Geography and SDST majors, it is important to remember that a major does not define you. It is a way of getting you the skills you need to succeed in the workplace. A  major is a way for you to develop those skills in a subject that interests you. Throughout the term, do NOT let your major define what jobs you look for, who you interview, or anything else.

This Career Development Map is the overall concept of the class. If we've met, you've seen it before.
